Stephen Christian is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist for alternative rock band Anberlin, as well as the lead vocalist for his sound project Anchor & Braille. He and his comrades formed Anberlin in 2002, after the earlier group collapsed, known as SaGoh 24/7. He is one of Anberlin's main musicians alongside Joseph Milligan, and with the band released seven albums before their first disbandment in 2014 and began work on an eighth album in 2020. Numerous albums from the record Anberlin have reached the top. ten on different Billboard charts. He founded the humanitarian and non-profit group Faceless International, as well as the founder of Wood Water Records, the hometown of Anchor & Braille. Christian himself wrote and published The Orphaned Anything's. Christian also started his solo project Anchor & Braille in 2007, and his debut album Felt, produced by Copeland's Aaron Marsh, was released in 2009 .
